Jared Lawrence Hess\u00a0(born July 18, 1979) and\u00a0Jerusha Elizabeth Hess\u00a0(n\u00e9e\u00a0Demke, born May 12, 1980) are husband-and-wife American filmmakers known for their work on\u00a0Napoleon Dynamite\u00a0(2004),\u00a0Nacho Libre\u00a0(2006) and\u00a0Gentlemen Broncos\u00a0(2009), all of which they co-wrote and which were directed by Jared. (Nacho Libre\u00a0was co-written with\u00a0Mike White.) For their film\u00a0Ninety-Five Senses, they were nominated for the\u00a0Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.<\/p>\n
They also produced music videos for\u00a0The Postal Service’s third single, “We Will Become Silhouettes”, and\u00a0the Killers’ Christmas charity single “Boots”.<\/p>\n
