Jared Bush\u00a0(born June 12, 1974) is an American screenwriter, producer, and director who has served as the chief creative officer of\u00a0Walt Disney Animation Studios\u00a0since 2024. He is best known for co-writing and co-directing the Walt Disney Animation Studios film\u00a0Zootopia\u00a0(2016) and its upcoming sequel\u00a0Zootopia 2\u00a0(2025), writing the movie\u00a0Moana\u00a0(2016), its sequel\u00a0Moana 2\u00a0(2024) and\u00a0the 2026 upcoming live-action remake, and writing, directing, and winning an\u00a0Academy Award for Best Animated Feature\u00a0for the film\u00a0Encanto(2021), besides co-creating and executive producing the\u00a0Disney XD\u00a0animated series\u00a0Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero.\u00a0Bush is a graduate of Harvard University.<\/p>\n
