Byron P. Howard\u00a0(born December 26, 1968) is an American animator, character designer, story artist, film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known as one of the directors of the\u00a0Walt Disney Animation Studios\u00a0films\u00a0Bolt\u00a0(2008),\u00a0Tangled\u00a0(2010),\u00a0Zootopia (2016),\u00a0Encanto\u00a0(2021), and the upcoming\u00a0Zootopia 2\u00a0(2025). He is the first LGBT director to win the\u00a0Oscar\u00a0for Best Animated Feature twice for his work on\u00a0Zootopia\u00a0and\u00a0Encanto.<\/p>\n
