Glen Thomas Powell Jr.\u00a0(born October 21, 1988) is an American actor. He began his career with minor roles on television and in films such as\u00a0Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over\u00a0(2003) and\u00a0Fast Food Nation\u00a0(2006). Powell acted in the action film\u00a0The Expendables 3\u00a0(2014), the comedy-horror series\u00a0Scream Queens\u00a0(2015\u20132016), the teen comedy\u00a0Everybody Wants Some!!\u00a0(2016), the historical romance\u00a0The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018), and the romantic comedy\u00a0Set It Up (2018). He also portrayed astronaut\u00a0John Glenn in\u00a0Hidden Figures\u00a0(2016) and aviator\u00a0Tom Hudner in\u00a0Devotion\u00a0(2022).<\/p>\n
Powell became famous for starring in the action film\u00a0Top Gun: Maverick\u00a0(2022) and the romantic comedy\u00a0Anyone but You\u00a0(2023). He has since starred in the dark comedy\u00a0Hit Man(2023), which he also co-wrote and produced, and in the disaster film\u00a0Twisters\u00a0(2024). His performance in the former earned him a \u00a0Golden Globe Award nomination.<\/p>\n
