Sean Patrick Hayes\u00a0(born June 26, 1970)\u00a0is an American actor, comedian, and producer. Known for his performances on stage and screen, he gained acclaim for his role as\u00a0Jack McFarland\u00a0on the\u00a0NBC\u00a0sitcom\u00a0Will & Grace, for which he won a\u00a0Primetime Emmy Award\u00a0and four\u00a0Screen Actors Guild Awards. He has also received nominations for six\u00a0Golden Globe Awards\u00a0and two\u00a0Tony Awards, winning one.<\/p>\n
He also runs a television production company called Hazy Mills Productions, which produces shows such as\u00a0Grimm,\u00a0Hot in Cleveland,\u00a0The Soul Man, and\u00a0Hollywood Game Night. He portrayed\u00a0Jerry Lewis\u00a0in the\u00a0CBS\u00a0film\u00a0Martin and Lewis\u00a0(2002). Hayes made his Broadway debut playing Chuck Baxter in the musical revival\u00a0Promises, Promises\u00a0in 2010, for which he was nominated for the\u00a0Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical. He portrayed God in the comedy\u00a0An Act of God\u00a0from 2015 to 2016. Oscar Levant\u00a0in the\u00a0Doug Wright\u00a0play\u00a0Good Night, Oscar\u00a0in 2022, the latter of which earned him the\u00a0Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Play.
