Akiva Schaffer (born December 1, 1977) is an American filmmaker. He began his career as a writer for Saturday Night Live and a member of The Lonely Island, a sketch-comedy troupe that first found success on the Internet, which includes Andy Samberg and Jorma Taccone. He majored in film at University of California, Santa Cruz.
