Mark Ware Isham\u00a0(born September 7, 1951) is an American musician and composer. A\u00a0trumpeter\u00a0and keyboardist, Isham works in a variety of genres, including\u00a0jazz\u00a0and\u00a0electronic. He is also a prolific and acclaimed composer of\u00a0film scores. He has scored over 200 film and television productions since his debut in 1983.<\/p>\n
Isham is a nine-time\u00a0Grammy Award\u00a0nominee, winning\u00a0the award for Best New Age Album\u00a0for his 1990\u00a0self-titled album. He was nominated for an\u00a0Academy Award\u00a0for\u00a0A River Runs Through It\u00a0(1992) and a\u00a0Golden Globe Award\u00a0for\u00a0Nell\u00a0(1994). He has also been nominated for six\u00a0Primetime Emmy Awards, winning\u00a0Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music\u00a0for\u00a0EZ Streets.<\/p>\n
