Marco Beltrami\u00a0(born October 7, 1966) is an American composer of film and television scores. He has worked in several genres, including\u00a0horror\u00a0(Scream,\u00a0Mimic,\u00a0The Faculty,\u00a0Resident Evil,\u00a0The Woman in Black,\u00a0Carrie,\u00a0A Quiet Place, and\u00a0The Nun II),\u00a0action\u00a0(Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines,\u00a0Live Free or Die Hard,\u00a0World War Z),\u00a0science fiction\u00a0(I, Robot,\u00a0Snowpiercer),\u00a0Western(3:10 to Yuma,\u00a0Jonah Hex,\u00a0The Homesman), and\u00a0superhero\u00a0(Hellboy,\u00a0The Wolverine,\u00a0Logan,\u00a0Venom: Let There Be Carnage).<\/p>\n
A long-time collaborator of\u00a0Wes Craven, Beltrami scored seven of the director’s films, including the original four Craven-directed films in the\u00a0Scream franchise (1996\u20132011). He has also worked with such directors as\u00a0James Mangold,\u00a0Guillermo del Toro,\u00a0Tommy Lee Jones,\u00a0Alex Proyas,\u00a0Ole Bornedal,\u00a0Kathryn Bigelow,\u00a0Bong Joon-ho,\u00a0Dan Gilroy, and\u00a0John Krasinski.
