Paul Stephen Rudd\u00a0(born April 6, 1969) is an American actor. Rudd studied theatre at the\u00a0University of Kansas\u00a0and the\u00a0American Academy of Dramatic Arts\u00a0before making his acting debut in 1991. He was included on the\u00a0Forbes\u00a0Celebrity 100\u00a0list in 2019 and was named\u00a0People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” in 2021. The accolades he has received include a\u00a0Critics’ Choice Television Award, as well as nominations for a\u00a0Golden Globe Award, two\u00a0Primetime Emmy Awards, and two\u00a0Screen Actors Guild Awards.<\/p>\n

He has played the superhero\u00a0Scott Lang \/ Ant-Man\u00a0in five\u00a0Marvel Cinematic Universe\u00a0(MCU) films, from\u00a0Ant-Man\u00a0(2015) to\u00a0Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania\u00a0(2023). He played\u00a0Gary Grooberson\u00a0in the\u00a0Ghostbusters\u00a0films\u00a0Afterlife\u00a0(2021) and\u00a0Frozen Empire\u00a0(2024).<\/p>\n
Rudd has also appeared in numerous television shows, including the sitcom\u00a0Friends\u00a0(2002\u20132004) as\u00a0Mike Hannigan, and has featured as a guest host of\u00a0Saturday Night Live\u00a0multiple times. He had a dual role in the comedy series\u00a0Living with Yourself\u00a0(2019), which earned him a nomination for the\u00a0Golden Globe Award for Best Actor \u2013 Television Series Musical or Comedy. He starred in the miniseries\u00a0The Shrink Next Door\u00a0(2021).
