Christopher Michael Sanders\u00a0(born March 12, 1962)\u00a0is an American filmmaker, animator, and voice actor. His credits include\u00a0Lilo & Stitch\u00a0(2002) and its\u00a0live-action adaptation\u00a0and\u00a0How to Train Your Dragon\u00a0(2010), both of which he co-wrote and directed with\u00a0Dean DeBlois;\u00a0The Croods\u00a0(2013) with\u00a0Kirk DeMicco; and\u00a0The Wild Robot\u00a0(2024), receiving nominations for the\u00a0Academy Award for Best Animated Feature\u00a0for all of them. In 2020, he made his live-action directorial debut with the adventure drama\u00a0The Call of the Wild. He created the character\u00a0Stitch\u00a0in 1985, wrote the film’s story, and voiced Stitch in\u00a0almost all his media appearances.<\/p>\n
