Steve Yockey\u00a0is an American\u00a0playwright,\u00a0producer\u00a0and\u00a0screenwriter. He is known as the developer of the\u00a0HBO Max\u00a0comedy-drama television series\u00a0The Flight Attendant, which was an adaptation of the 2018\u00a0novel of the same name.<\/p>\n
Yockey began his career in 2014, when he wrote an episode for the television series\u00a0Awkward. He later produced and wrote for\u00a0the television series Supernatural. He left the series in 2019 to work on his own television series, The Flight Attendant.\u00a0In 2021, Yockey was nominated for two\u00a0Primetime Emmy Awards\u00a0in the categories\u00a0Outstanding Comedy Series\u00a0and\u00a0Outstanding Writing\u00a0for the episode “In Case of Emergency” at the\u00a073rd Primetime Emmy Awards.\u00a0In 2022, Yockey signed a multi-year overall deal with\u00a0Warner Bros. Television.<\/p>\n
