Deborah Chow\u00a0is a Canadian\u00a0filmmaker,\u00a0television director\u00a0and\u00a0screenwriter\u00a0known for her independent films and her work on\u00a0Star Wars television. Two of her first short films,\u00a0Daypass (2002) and\u00a0The Hill\u00a0(2004), have won awards at various international film festivals. She wrote and directed her first feature film,\u00a0The High Cost of Living\u00a0(2010).<\/p>\n
Chow has directed various projects for television, including the\u00a02014 TV movie adaption\u00a0of\u00a0V. C. Andrews’ Gothic novel\u00a0Flowers in the Attic\u00a0and episodes of the series\u00a0Copper,\u00a0Murdoch Mysteries,\u00a0Reign,\u00a0Beauty and the Beast, and\u00a0Mr. Robot. Chow is also a director on the\u00a0first season\u00a0of the\u00a0Star Wars\u00a0series\u00a0The Mandalorian\u00a0(2019) and directed all six Obi-Wan Kenobi\u00a0(2022) episodes for\u00a0Disney+.<\/p>\n
