He has been nominated six times for the\u00a0Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay:\u00a0Forrest Gump\u00a0(1994),\u00a0The Insider\u00a0(1999),\u00a0Munich\u00a0(2005),\u00a0The Curious Case of Benjamin Button\u00a0(2008),\u00a0A Star Is Born\u00a0(2018), and\u00a0Dune\u00a0(2021) \u2014 winning for\u00a0Forrest Gump; he also earned a\u00a0Best Picture\u00a0nomination for producing\u00a0Mank\u00a0(2020). Roth also worked on screenplays for the\u00a0Oscar-nominated films\u00a0Ali (2001),\u00a0Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (2011), and\u00a0Killers of the Flower Moon\u00a0(2023).<\/p>\n
